Heart-to-Song is dedicated to bringing loved ones together through music.

Our services are for everyone; even your furry friend

Heart to Song was founded by Board Certified Music Therapist, Aubrianna Nichols. In the winter of 2024, her family faced the loss of their treasured dog, Aspen. In the midst of their grief, Aubrianna wished she could have given her family a gift that would have stood the test of time…

At the time, Aubrianna was working as a Music Therapist at a local pediatric hospital. One service that she provided as a Music Therapist was producing ‘heartbeat songs’ for families that anticipated the loss of their infant or child. When she discovered that this service was not available to members of the Mid-Missouri area at large, she wanted to change that.

Aubrianna believes that in the face of tragedy, you can still make lasting memories. You are invited to explore Heart-to-Song’s website to learn more about services and contact staff with questions.

Founder of Heart to Song

Aubrianna exhibited a passion for music as well as a heart to serve others ever since she was a child. She found the perfect way to combine these passions into a career after observing a Pediatric Music Therapist during her first year of college. Aubrianna then proceeded to gain additional music performance and new clinical skills while studying at Maryville University of St. Louis, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Music Therapy. After passing the Board Certification Exam, she gained experience working with older adults in Hospice & Palliative Care. Aubrianna currently serves pediatric patients at the University of Missouri Children's Hospital. She has also obtained both the Hospice & Palliative Care Music Therapy Certification (HPMT) and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Music Therapy Certification (NICU-MT).
